U-Nut - Screw ø No.14 (6.3mm) - W14 x L21 x R11 mm - 100 Pack
These U-Nuts are designed to clip on to the edge of sheet metal, plastics or composites and can be used with body bolts or self-tapping screws. They can also be used in a rectangular mounting hole located in the middle of a panel. The self-locking feature means that tapping, welding or riveting can be avoided.
They are often used to secure dashboards, door panels and trims, roof linings or under the bonnet in light duty applications.
Unlike J-Nuts, both legs of the U-Nut are the same length, and the retaining clip is formed on the leg without the threads helping to keep the nut in place while not screwed down.
The screw diameter ⌀ indicates the screw size for fixing the U-Nut in place.
